Replacing the air filter every 6 months is recommended for optimal use (or according to your air filter status).
It is time to replace the air filter when the following signals appear:
- Filter Health Indicator lights up red;
- Clogged filter;
- The presence of heavy odors from the unit.

Remove the filter cover.
Locate and remove the old filters.
Install the new filters. (Note: take off the stickers before installing the filters)
After replacing the filter cartridge, press the reset button, the life of the filter cartridge will reset to zero, and the life of the new filter cartridge will be counted again.

The biodegradable activated carbon filter can be stored for 6 months in the working environment of the kitchen composter and can be stored for more than 1 year in a normal sealed environment.
If it will not be used for a long time, please remove the activated carbon filter and keep it sealed.
